James went from “so I wouldn’t say I’m fat but, but I carried too much weight, and I found as I reached my late forties i was slowing down and running was becoming harder…”
to “i’ve just ran my fastest 5k for 3 years and i’m the lightest I’ve been since I can remember.”
Viv went from being frustrated that her health and fitness had gone up and down over the years, and wasn’t getting any younger…
..to losing SO MANY inches, dropping a shedload of extra pounds, feeling so much stronger and inspiring everyone around her with her phenomenal running too #supergran
From day one I felt very welcomed to the mprs family.i came from a history of very unhealthy living. I felt certain aspects of fitness would be unattainable to me… I was very wrong.. I lost alot of weight, which mprs played a substantial part in. The tailored sessions provide me with copious amounts of knowledge geared towards running. My first park run 5k time was about 28 mins. My fastest recorded parkrun is now 18 mins 50 seconds. I also manged to do dalby dash 10k in about 43 mins. This transformation is due to the principles I learned from Mike. The sessions were very inclusive and the team work and laughs provided me with beautiful connection. I’m very grateful for the ethos of mprs. I highly recommend it to help kickstart your journey back to health
I was absolutely AMAZED by the results!
Running, combined with nutritional monitoring and core strength training as part of your programme enabled me to drop 10 kilos (1st 8lbs). I’m almost back to my student weight after 8 years of uncontrolled weight gain.
Thinking about it in hindsight, I guess my primary objective when enrolling was mostly about fitness and weight, running being a way to achieve it.
THANK YOU Mike! You’ve really helped me re-gain control over my body & weight after years of struggle and boosted my confidence.
This is absolutely invaluable to me.
Keep up the great work!
My moods have definitely improved!
This has given me a better outlook and respect for the lifestyle choices that I make.
I had the help and motivation to make me see what my body can do and what it needs to do to achieve the changes that I need
I can’t EVER go back to my old existence – I love my new lifestyle, it’s definitely put a spring in my step.
Before I started training with you I felt constantly tired, I was lacking motivation and clothes shopping made me miserable.
I’ve really enjoyed the benefits of feeling fitter and more active – I’m happy and training has become a part of my life rather than a chore.
I look forward to my sessions and relish the challenge each one brings.
“I’m eating well and I am leaner and fitter (than I’ve ever been).“
I knew I wasn’t as fit as I wanted to be or as I had been a year ago as I’d been injured. I’d had a break from running for 6 or 7 months and apart from walking had’t been very active. I wanted to get back running and complete a half marathon before my 40th birthday, but was worried about doing it on my own as I thought I’d just end up injuring myself again.
Everyone is welcoming, we’ve all been the new person and know what it’s like to step out of your comfort zone, but it’s worth it. It’s a really fun, sociable way to get fit.
I think the proof is in the results. Back in March I struggled to run 5 miles, I was eating junk and felt unfit, now in September I’ve run 2 half-marathons injury-free (the second 8 minutes faster than the first!), and I’m consistently knocking minutes off my PBs, I’m eating well and I am leaner and fitter (than I’ve ever been).
